Browne Finally Admits that He is Going out with Ronda Rousey

Mixed martial arts stars Travis Browne and Ronda Rousey are now officially an item.

During a recent interview at The MMA Hour last Monday, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne has finally addressed the relationship rumors and murmurs that are circulating around the internet for weeks now; he and the UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey are indeed together.

This rumor first surfaced back in August when Jenna Renee Webb, Browne’s estranged wife, posted some comments about a picture of Rousey and Browne spending time together. Webb has accused Browne of domestic violence a month before that by posting some disturbing pictures on the popular social media platform, Instagram. The pictures showed Webb being covered with bruises in her arms, face, and even on her legs.

With the alleged domestic violence case that was placed by his wife, Browne had to be temporarily suspended by the UFC until the case was resolved. However, after a third-party investigation, which was also requested by the UFC, the investigating party declared that the evidence given were inconclusive. The mixed martial arts promotion then decided to lift Browne’s suspension and allowed him back in the octagon.

Travis BrowneNow that Browne’s suspension has been lifted, the UFC heavyweight fighter has been scheduled to go back in the octagon and fight Matt Mitrione at the UFC Fight Night: Dillashaw vs. Cruz which which will be held in Boston.

The women’s UFC bantamweight champ and global superstar, on the other hand, hasn’t released any official statements about the issue yet. But Browne has already confirmed that they are indeed together.

“Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the sh*t that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together. She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There’s no dating. We’re together,” Browne admitted.

Both fighters are under the same team and MMA gym, Glendale Fight Club, which is located in Los Angeles. As close the two might be, Browne clarified that their personal relationship isn’t going to be a distraction to their career.

“There isn’t a single damn thing, unless it has to do with a family member on their deathbed, that’s going to distract me from those two hours and being focused in that gym. When my coach talks, I listen. When he’s working with somebody else, I’m watching. The same goes for her and she’s actually been a great example of that, of just being ultra focused and being borderline obsessive with training. And it’s not weird at all. Like I said, we didn’t start off interested in each other and now we have to work together. We worked together when we were just acquaintances,” he said.
