Jessica Aguilar, former world series of fighting champion, is having her first fight ever in the UFC. She will be going against Claudia Gadelha Saturday, August 1.
Aguilar claimed that she is confident with the training she got from American Top Team, and because of this, she feels the fight will just be like a walk in the park.
In a recent interview with Portal do Vale Tudo, Aguilar said that she had a great camp at American Top Team. “I train hard and fight proud. My expectation is the same as always. I will give it my best, raise my hands and have some fun,” she added.
Mixed martial arts female fighter Aguilar is also confident that she will win against her competitor, Claudia Gadelha, which in turn will qualify her to go up against prevailing champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
“My adversary is the kind of opponent I love to face. She is one of the best. I’m already ranked number one outside of the UFC so, definitely, when I win, I will have my title shot,” further added.
MMA fighters Jessica Aguilar and Claudia Gadelha will be the opening act on the UFC 190 main card event. This event will be held in Rio de Janeiro this coming August 1st. The main card for this event will be Ronda Rousey going up against Bethe Correia for the belt.
