One of the most difficult things about sports is accepting defeat. It is hard on a persons psyche and body to accept you were not up to the task or that someone was better then you. The reality is we all face defeat, no matter how strong, how fast or how gifted we are, there will be a day where we lose. Losing is inevitable but the experience is one of the strongest tools any athlete can have. The loss provides motivation and a glimpse into things you need to improve on.

Some of the greatest athletes in the world like Michael Jordan, George St-Pierre, Muhammad Ali, and many others who lost in big ways. But the losses are not what people remember, they remember who the person was and what they did after facing adversity.
